Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.4, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star's score of 82.1. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S6 is much older than the Galaxy A8 Star, it's construction is just a bit thinner and way lighter. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy S6 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a way better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a better pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a camera that's very similar to the Galaxy A8 Star one, because although the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images in low-light situations, and they both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 16 mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality photos.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy A8 Star has a much longer battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
