The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge, getting a general score of 82.1 against 78.1. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version, counting with some nice extra features and better performance. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a heavier device than Galaxy S7 edge, but both of them have the same thickness.
Galaxy S7 edge has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
