The Galaxy S9 has an overall score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star's 82.1 general score. Although Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy A8 Star were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy S9 design is just a little thicker but also somewhat lighter. The Galaxy S9 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy S9 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. Galaxy S9's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Galaxy A8 Star's one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB and equal 64 GB internal memory.
