The Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's score of 77.6. Galaxy A8 Star's body is thinner and lighter than the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has Android 12, so it gives a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a very superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has a little lower pixels density, a little bit smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2220px resolution.
Galaxy A8 Star has just a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a lot lower resolution camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light situations and a way bigger camera sensor. Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity.
