Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 10 II's 78.5 general score. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia 10 II has Android 10 version. The Galaxy A8 Star is an older and way heavier cellphone than Xperia 10 II, but Samsung was able to make it just a bit thinner anyway.
Galaxy A8 Star has a bit superior CPU than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 10 II features a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a little better screen density.
The Sony Xperia 10 II features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy A8 Star has just a little bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 10 II, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and the same sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better images in low light situations and a lot higher resolution camera.
