The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZs, having an 82.1 score against 77.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia XZs, it's a little bit thinner and also newer. The Galaxy A8 Star features a little bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZs has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixels count in each display inch.
