Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12's 78.8 overall score. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star is a lot older and a little heavier than Xiaomi 12, it's construction is still a little thinner.
Galaxy A8 Star has a lot better processing power than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi 12 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi 12 also has a little more pixels per screen inch and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Xiaomi 12 captures greater pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a lot better video resolution, a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 400 GB. Xiaomi 12 has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
