Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than the Xiaomi 12X, with a score of 82.1 against 77.8. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a older and a little bit heavier device than the Xiaomi 12X, but Samsung managed to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12X has Android 11 version, so it provides you some nice extra features and better performance.
Galaxy A8 Star features a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi 12X, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi 12X features a much better display than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi 12X also has a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit better display pixels density.
Xiaomi 12X captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures, it also counts with a much better video definition and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels. The Galaxy A8 Star has a better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12X, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Xiaomi 12X features longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 22% bigger battery capacity.
