Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, having an 82.1 score against 78.7. Despite of the fact that Galaxy A8 Star is incredibly older than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, it's design is somewhat thinner and lighter. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has Android 12.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a bit smaller screen, a just a little inferior pixels number in each screen inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2220. Galaxy A8 Star has a very superior processor than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a lot better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller sensor which offers a worse image and video quality and a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a camera in the back with a way better 108 megapixels resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 26 percent larger battery capacity.
