Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star, having a score of 83.8 against 82.1. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s body is a little lighter but just a little bit thicker than Galaxy A8 Star, and they were released only a couple of months apart. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy A8 Star shoots clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a bit superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
