Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with an 82.1 score against 76. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides some extra features. Galaxy A8 Star is a heavier device than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but they are equally thin.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger number of cores.
