Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, getting a general score of 82.1 against 80.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro were released with only 7 months difference, Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's body is just a little heavier but a little thinner than the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. Both of these devices use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a little bit more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. They have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 400 GB.
