Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3, with an 82.1 score against 78.2. Galaxy A8 Star is an much older device than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but Samsung managed to build it noticeably thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Poco M3 and Galaxy A8 Star have very similar screens, although the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a bit better pixels density, a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little bit bigger display.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a way better battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3700mAh.
Xiaomi Poco M3 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a camera with way more mega pixels and a lot larger sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
