Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, with a score of 82.1 against 77.2. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro were released only 3 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star design is just a bit heavier but a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. These devices work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo, so it offers a couple additional features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has a just a little better pixels quantity in each screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
