Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the ZTE Axon 20, with an 82.1 score against 77.8. Both phones we are comparing here include Android operating system, but Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10 version, so it gives you some nice extra features. The Galaxy A8 Star body is just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than ZTE Axon 20, even though it was released 2 years before.
ZTE Axon 20 counts with a display that's very similar to Galaxy A8 Star's screen, because although the ZTE Axon 20 has a little worse number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2460 resolution. The Galaxy A8 Star features a bigger memory to install games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports up to 400 GB.
The ZTE Axon 20 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a larger amount of RAM. The ZTE Axon 20 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a lot larger camera sensor, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a back camera with a way better resolution.
The ZTE Axon 20 features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
