The Galaxy A80 is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, getting an 84.9 score against 82.7. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy A80 is a somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier phone than LG G8X ThinQ. The LG G8X ThinQ has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A80, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. LG G8X ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy A80 features a bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and videos in low-light situations and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also counts with a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a lot more mega pixels camera.
LG G8X ThinQ features a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A80, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.
