The Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016)'s general score of 74.9. The Galaxy A12 construction is newer, but a bit heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016). Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Galaxy A12 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy A9 (2016), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A12 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A9 (2016), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has more RAM.
