Galaxy A9 (2018) has a general score of 85.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 general score. The Galaxy A9 (2018) is an way older cellphone than Asus ROG Phone 5, but Samsung was able to make it much lighter and incredibly thinner. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a sharper screen than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a little bit higher 1080 x 2448 resolution, a just a little greater screen pixels density and a little bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photographs, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels.
