The Galaxy Note Edge is just a bit better than the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), with an 81.7 score against 74.4. Galaxy Note Edge is an older and a little bit thicker phone than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), but Samsung could make it lighter anyway. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note Edge has older 5.0 version and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has lesser RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Note Edge features a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

Galaxy Note Edge shoots way better photographs and videos than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.

The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) counts with a bit more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
