Galaxy A90 5G is just a bit better than Xperia 5 II, having a global score of 90.5 against 87.2. Even being the best phone in this review, we must highlight that it is also an older, way heavier and a bit thicker phone. Sony Xperia 5 II has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a bit better pixel number per inch of display.
Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II's CPU is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A90 5G's processing unit, and although the Xperia 5 II has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy A90 5G features a little longer battery life than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has a little bit better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse video frame rates, a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
