Apple iPhone 7 Plus is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha, having a global score of 83.8 against 76.3. Although it's the best in this comparison, Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a way heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Galaxy Alpha. Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics processor.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus features a little sharper display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a bigger screen, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920px. IPhone 7 Plus captures clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a camera with a 12 megapixels and the same video frame rate, the iPhone 7 Plus also has a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and video.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal storage capacity. IPhone 7 Plus counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 56% greater battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Apple iPhone 7 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, giving up a couple features and specifications.
