IPhone XS Max has a global score of 84.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Alpha's global score of 76.3. IPhone XS Max is a notably heavier and thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. IPhone XS Max features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher 1242 x 2688px resolution, a really bigger display and a higher pixel count per inch in the screen.
The iPhone XS Max features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPhone XS Max has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM, a greater number of cores (although they are slower) and a 64-bits processor.
The Apple iPhone XS Max shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a same resolution back camera and the same video quality, the Apple iPhone XS Max also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture.
