The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is just a bit better than Google Nexus 5, getting a general score of 76.3 against 76. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Alpha has 4.4.4 version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's body is lighter and much thinner than Google Nexus 5.

Google Nexus 5 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a better pixels density, a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little larger screen. The Google Nexus 5 has as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha one, both of them have the same 32 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha has just a bit better processing power than Google Nexus 5. They have a 2 GB RAM memory, a Quad-Core CPU and a 450 MHz graphics processing unit.
