Comparison review
The Huawei P20 has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 global score. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4. Huawei P20 is a noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Galaxy Alpha.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a bit more vivid display than Huawei P20, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a little smaller screen and a lot worse pixels amount per inch in the display. Huawei P20 has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Alpha features a bit better processor than Huawei P20, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Huawei P20 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a back camera with a 12 megapixels and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 also has a larger camera aperture to take better low light images.
Huawei P20 features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Huawei P20 is also a bit cheaper, making this phone a very good choice.
