Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 76.3 global score. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, offering a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ design is just a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores and an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 1860mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, resigning a couple features and specifications.
