Comparison review

The HTC Desire is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Beam 2, having a 60.6 score against 55.6. These phones come with Android operating system, but the HTC Desire has 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 has Android 4.2.2, counting with a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Even though the HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 were released only 2 months apart, the HTC Desire is thinner and lighter.

The Galaxy Beam 2 features a bit more vivid screen than HTC Desire, although it has a little worse resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a bit worse number of pixels per inch of screen, they both have a display with the same size. HTC Desire features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Beam 2, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core processing unit, the HTC Desire also has a GPU.

HTC Desire features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Beam 2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB. HTC Desire shoots way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Beam 2, because it has a much more MP back camera. The Galaxy Beam 2 has longer battery lifetime than HTC Desire, because it has a 27 percent larger battery capacity.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, HTC Desire is also cheaper than the Galaxy Beam 2, which makes it a simple decision.
