Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting a overall score of 81 against 77.4. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is an older and just a bit heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Samsung made it thinner anyway. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a little bit larger display, a just a bit higher display density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280px. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. Both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a much worse resolution camera, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light captures and video and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
