Comparison review
Galaxy C9 Pro has an overall score of 81, which is a bit better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 global score. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy C9 Pro has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user some extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy C9 Pro is an extremely older and way heavier cellphone than the Galaxy A40, but Samsung managed to make it thinner anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a little better screen pixel density. Galaxy C9 Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy C9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.
Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a little bit better storage for games and applications than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy C9 Pro counts with longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 29 percent larger battery capacity.
