The Galaxy C9 Pro is slightly better than the Galaxy J7 Max, getting an 81 score against 76.1. Even though the Galaxy C9 Pro and the Galaxy J7 Max were released only 4 months apart, the Galaxy C9 Pro design is somewhat thinner but just a little heavier than the Galaxy J7 Max. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy C9 Pro has the older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy J7 Max counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Galaxy J7 Max also counts with a little bit better pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro also has 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy C9 Pro shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy C9 Pro also counts with a better resolution back camera.
