Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, having an 82.2 score against 81. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium body is newer than the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro's, but it is a lot heavier and incredibly thicker. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit more storage for apps and games than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Galaxy C9 Pro has a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13% larger battery size. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a way higher (4K) video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light situations and a camera with a better 19 mega-pixels resolution.
