The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is better than the iPhone 8's overall score of 85. Samsung Galaxy Fold is a way newer and just a little thinner cellphone than iPhone 8, although it is extremely heavier. The iPhone 8 features a bit better processor than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
IPhone 8 has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, although it has a really smaller screen, a way worse 750 x 1334 resolution and a quite worse display density. Samsung Galaxy Fold takes a little bit better photos and videos than Apple iPhone 8, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a same resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a bigger diafragm aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than iPhone 8, because it has 512 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Fold features a way better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Apple iPhone 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Apple iPhone 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Apple iPhone 8, letting go some specifications.
