Comparison review

Galaxy Fold is much better than LG V50 ThinQ, with a overall score of 97.6 against 83.7. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10 version. Even though the Galaxy Fold and the LG V50 ThinQ were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy Fold construction is thinner but notably heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit better performance than LG V50 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. LG V50 ThinQ features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Fold and LG V50 ThinQ feature very similar cameras, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality pictures, they both have a F1.5 aperture, the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

Galaxy Fold counts with a little better battery life than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V50 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V50 ThinQ, letting go some features and specifications.
