The Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is way better than the Motorola Edge 50's 81.2 score. Even though Galaxy Fold is older and a lot heavier than the Motorola Edge 50, it's body is still thinner. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14.

Samsung Galaxy Fold features a way better processing power than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel number per inch of display and a slightly higher resolution of 1220 x 2712px.

The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture and worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
