Comparison review

Galaxy Fold is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, getting a global score of 97.6 against 91.8. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has Android 11 version, counting with lots of additional features and performance improvements. Even though Galaxy Fold and the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G were released only 9 months apart, the Galaxy Fold design is a lot heavier but thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A71 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better display density.

Galaxy A71 5G has a better camera than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light images and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A71 5G also counts with a lot more MP back facing camera and a much bigger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality pictures and videos.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a better storage for games and applications than Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A71 5G counts with a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Fold, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A71 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A71 5G. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A71 5G, giving up a couple specifications.
