Galaxy Fold has a global score of 97.6, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 global score. The Galaxy Fold construction is much newer and somewhat thinner, but also a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS, but the Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, offering some extra features.

Galaxy Fold counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note Edge features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a quite better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a much worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lower (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a way bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4380mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note Edge. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note Edge, giving up some specs and features.
