The Moto G is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Gio, getting a 60.3 score against 47.3. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto G has newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Gio has Android 2.3.3 version, so it offers a couple additional features and performance enhancements. Moto G's body is incredibly newer and a little thinner, but also heavier than Samsung Galaxy Gio.

Motorola Moto G counts with a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Gio, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a faster GPU working at 450 MHz. Moto G counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Gio, because it has a way greater pixel density, a much bigger screen and a lot better resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The Moto G features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Gio, because it has a much higher (HD) video definition and a way more megapixels back camera. Motorola Moto G counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Gio, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Motorola Moto G features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Gio, because it has a 2070mAh battery size.

Motorola Moto G costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy Gio, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
