The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J1, with a general score of 60.8 against 57.9. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is an extremely older, just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J1. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Samsung Epic 4G Touch has the older 4.1.2 version while Samsung Galaxy J1 has Android 4.4.4.
Samsung Galaxy J1 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Epic 4G Touch, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 480 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy J1 also counts with a quite higher count of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch and Galaxy J1 have incredibly similar processors, and although the Samsung Epic 4G Touch has more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J1, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory. Galaxy J1 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Epic 4G Touch, because it has a 3 percent greater battery size.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy J1, because it has a camera with much more megapixels and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
