Xiaomi Mi 5s has a general score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017)'s global score of 73.5. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 5s has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite of the fact the Xiaomi Mi 5s is older and just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), it's design is still somewhat lighter.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a little better pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), because although it has a back-facing camera with a worse 12 megapixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
