Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is better than the Galaxy J7 (2018)'s 72.5 general score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and the Galaxy J7 (2018) were released only 2 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's body is a bit heavier but also somewhat thinner. The Galaxy A8 Star features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels, a quite bigger display and a higher screen density.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 400 GB, the Galaxy A8 Star also has 32 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a 3700mAh battery size.
