The Galaxy Note Edge is much better than Galaxy J7 (2018), getting a score of 81.7 against 72.5. Galaxy Note Edge's body is just a little lighter and a bit thinner than the Galaxy J7 (2018), despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Note Edge counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy J7 (2018), because it has a lot higher pixel amount per display inch, a much higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little larger screen. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) features a greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.

Galaxy Note Edge captures slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a more mega-pixels back facing camera, a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better (4K) video definition.

Galaxy J7 (2018) counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 10% more battery size.

The Galaxy Note Edge is way more expensive than Galaxy J7 (2018), but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
