Comparison review

Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Duo, getting a general score of 79.3 against 74.6. The Galaxy S6 edge+ body is somewhat lighter and thinner than the Galaxy J7 Duo. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version while Galaxy J7 Duo has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Galaxy J7 Duo counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy J7 Duo also has a greater number of cores. Galaxy S6 edge+ features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo, because it has a lot greater amount of pixels per inch of display, a little bigger display and a much better 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 Duo, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a better 16 mega-pixels resolution camera, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo features a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo have incredibly similar batteries.
