Galaxy A12 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, having a global score of 80.3 against 75.3. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A12 has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although it's the best in this review, Galaxy A12's design is thicker and somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920. Galaxy A12 features just a little better performance than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy A12 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a 52% more battery capacity.
Galaxy A12 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A12 also counts with a back facing camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
