Galaxy Note9 is better than Galaxy J7 Star, getting a score of 87.1 against 73.1. The Galaxy Note9 is an a little thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than Galaxy J7 Star. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a better processing unit than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Note9 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen, a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a larger display. The Galaxy Note9 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy Note9 has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
