Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star's global score of 73.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is extremely older than the Galaxy J7 Star, it's design is incredibly thinner and lighter. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version and Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 7 more cores. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a lot better display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a way better resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a quite bigger screen.
Galaxy S6 edge+ captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality, a more MP camera in the back and a lot higher video definition.
The Galaxy J7 Star features a much greater memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
