Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 has an overall score of 78.3, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's overall score of 73.1. Xperia XZ1's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, although it was released around 10 months before. Xperia XZ1 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a way better pixel density.
Xperia XZ1 features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xperia XZ1 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking images or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher video resolution, a much better 19 MP resolution back-facing camera and a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Xperia XZ1 features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy J7 Star features improved battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy J7 Star. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy J7 Star, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
