Xperia XZ2 has a general score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star's overall score of 73.1. Despite being the best phone in this review, the Xperia XZ2 construction is incredibly thicker and just a bit heavier than Galaxy J7 Star. The Xperia XZ2 features a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a way better amount of pixels per display inch, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a bit larger screen.
The Xperia XZ2 features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB, the Xperia XZ2 also has 64 GB internal memory. The Sony Xperia XZ2 features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star features just a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3180mAh. Xperia XZ2 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality, a back facing camera with way more megapixels and a way bigger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and videos.
