Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than Galaxy J7 Star, getting a 79.6 score against 73.1. Although the Xperia XZ3 is better than Galaxy J7 Star, it must be told that it is also just a little bit heavier and thicker. These phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS, so both of them should provide you the same operating system features.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a lot better looking display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a quite larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a way greater display pixel density. The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a much better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a back facing camera with way more MP and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor.
The Xperia XZ3's battery duration is just as good as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's battery performance, although the Xperia XZ3 also has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, resigning a couple specs and features.
