LG V30 is much better than the Galaxy J7 V (2018), getting a general score of 79.1 against 71.9. LG V30's construction is thinner and lighter than Galaxy J7 V (2018), even though both were released with only a few months difference. LG V30 has an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), because it has a quite bigger screen, much more pixels per inch of display and a much better 1440 x 2880 resolution.

The LG V30 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V30 also has a larger amount of RAM. The LG V30 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), because it has a larger aperture to take better low light photography, a much better (4K) video definition and a more megapixels camera.

LG V30 has much more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy J7 V (2018), because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage. LG V30 has a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018) one.

LG V30 is more expensive than the Galaxy J7 V (2018), but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
