Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is much better than Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), having a overall score of 79.6 against 71.9. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, the Xperia XZ3 body is somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018). These devices include Android operating system, but Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018) has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
Xperia XZ3 features a bit better processor than Galaxy J7 V (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ3 also has more RAM memory. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a lot better looking screen than Galaxy J7 V (2018), because it has a way higher quantity of pixels per screen inch, a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a little bigger display.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a better camera than Galaxy J7 V (2018), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way better resolution back-facing camera. The Xperia XZ3 has much more storage for applications and games than Galaxy J7 V (2018), because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
Xperia XZ3's battery life is just as good as the battery life in Galaxy J7 V (2018), although the Xperia XZ3 also has a 3330mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy J7 V (2018), giving up some features and specs.
