Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a bit better than the Galaxy J8, with a overall score of 81.7 against 76.7. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has 5.0 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is an a lot older and a bit thicker phone than the Galaxy J8, but Samsung could make it just a little lighter anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot better pixel density. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser cpu cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Note Edge captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have a back camera with a 16 megapixels, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking better quality photos and videos and a way higher (4K) video definition.

The Galaxy J8 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. Galaxy J8 features a bit superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 17 percent more battery capacity.
